This 12-hour course provides practitioners and students alike with the background knowledge required to operate a clinically successful, evidence-based adjustment centric chiropractic practice in the 21st century.
Course Objectives: To understand the unique healthcare paradigm of chiropractic, how it compares and contrasts to the allopathic paradigm, how it is the only biologically accurate paradigm and why it is the only paradigm capable of restoring and maintaining health and preventing illness. To understand the neurophysiological importance of segmental joint function/dysfunction (VSC) in neuromusculoskeletal and overall health and quality of life, and to gain working knowledge of the clinical evidence establishing chiropractic SMT/adjustment as the most evidence-based intervention for spinal healthcare.
Overview of Course: Peer-reviewed evidence regarding the unique healthcare paradigm of chiropractic, how it compares and contrasts with the allopathic paradigm, how it is the only healthcare paradigm congruent with biological laws such as genetics, epigenetics, stress, allostasis, adaptation, and chronic health and illness, and how it is the only paradigm capable of the achieving outcomes of restored health and function, wellness, and prevention will be presented. Peer reviewed evidence regarding the neurophysiological importance of segmental joint function/dysfunction (VSC) in neuromusculoskeletal extra-neuromusculoskeletal health and quality of life will be reviewed and explained. Finally, a review and summary of the peer-reviewed clinical evidence for chiropractic SMT/adjustment, and a comparison and contrast of the evidence for chiropractic SMT/adjustment vs all other available spinal health interventions will be presented establishing the superiority of chiropractic based on level of evidence of effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
